Connor Shaw finished as the winningest quarterback in the history of the University of South Carolina football. When it was all said and done, he had a 26-5 record as the starting QB for the Gamecocks, and a perfect 17-0 at home.  On Wednesday, he had a pretty strong day in front of NFL scouts at Williams-Brice stadium as well.  Many fans of the Gamecocks believe he is the greatest quarterback in the history of the program.

However, with the NFL draft starting a little more than a month from now on May 8, questions remain about where Connor Shaw may, or may not, go.  According to one recent listing of QB draft prospects, Connor was projected to go in the 6th or 7th round.  Some are still saying that he will not be drafted at all and will need to make it on to a team as an undrafted free agent.

This morning, a new chart emerged from Greg Peshek trying to compare some of the top quarterbacks in the upcoming draft through statistics.

Whether looking at mock drafts or charts like the one above, regardless of what he accomplished at South Carolina, one thing is for certain – we’re just going to have wait until the draft to know what might be ahead for Connor Shaw.
